20000 Leagues Under the Sea

Here it goes my character line up for the story. I had a hard time rendering, since I do not consider myself a good painter, but I am as stubborn  as I can be, so I went through with it, even though I had to  let other things go.

This reminds me how important is to keep practicing the things you are not good at. I promise to start something special soon in order to change that.

UPDATE:Firts keyframe for the story, it probably needs some more love but I have to keep going. Looking forward to any crits on this so I can make it better :D!

I was going to enter into a contest, but decide not to, last minute.
Decided to  "finish" it anyway.

The ghost with the most, Babe.

This time I am bringing a personal story I have been working on. There is a lot to add and fix still, but I think is about time to show what I have and let my soul  move on a little bit :).

Me and my ghostly family (for a lack of a better title...)
What is it about? well, I will briefly say that is about an orphan girl, named Levi,   who is adopted and rised by the ghostly members of a haunted house, thanks to her gift: she can see them.
However every thing is not going to be happiness and joy, mostly because The Ripper has to do his job and take rebel souls to the afterlife, and it happens that her "adoptive family " is a very rebel one.

So, here is the main cast!

Levi will be taken care of mostly by Billy, an old west gambler, and Victor, a vaudeville  impressionist.

I will be keeping updating this post as the cast  expands and more development comes around.
Thank you for looking!

Back and forth, back and forth

I am currently retouching all the work I had so far from the past term. This is one of the three finals I had to do for my Costume Design class. We were given the classic tale, "Puss in Boots", and we had to pic a character to design. I picked the cat, of course :). I  slightly changed the story, so I was challenged by my teacher to show how the character evolved on the 3 arcs of the story, instead of doing 3 separate designs. I will be posting them soon!!

I like sketching...

I am going to try to keep the blog more casual, so I am currently fixing stuff and compiling them on a proper portfolio page. Stay tuned for updates!

For now I am going to leave this here.
